Wastewater Transport

Municipal Wastewater Transportation

Wastewater is transported, by several different and constantly evolving methods, to local treatment plants. The most common method is a gravity-based system to deliver the pollutants. Alternatively, in certain situations a powerful pump system is installed midway to assist with the participle delivery to the municipal treatment plant.

The water that is transported there can be a mixture of chemicals, sewage, and naturally occurring rainwater.
